PICK-UP

The tour commences with pickups starting from the south of the island in Puerto de Mogán; we will then proceed to collect passengers in a sequence leading towards Las Palmas, which will be our final pickup location before heading to our first stop.

FIRGAS
⏱ 10:00 – 10:30 h

The day begins with a trip to Firgas, where we will stop to walk around and discover the first details about the local culture. Known as the “City of Water“, it stands out for its stunning views of the Atlantic and its historical connection to Gran Canaria’s water resources. Visitors can also admire the Water Mills, and the Paseo de Canarias offers a visual representation of the island’s municipalities.

Azuaje Ravine Viewpoint
⏱ 10:40 – 10:55 h

The Azuaje Ravine’s viewpoint offers spectacular views of the deep ravine, one of the last remnants of the ancient Selva de Doramas. From here, visitors can admire the lush vegetation and steep cliffs that combine to create a unique landscape. This stop is ideal for learning more about the region’s rich geological and ecological history. The area also highlights the importance of the laurel forest, a subtropical rainforest unique to this region.

Azuaje Ravine
⏱ 11:05 – 13:30 h

After a short car ride, we arrive at the ravine bed, Part of the ancient Doramas’ Forest. It offers an immersive experience in the laurel forest, one of the island’s rarest and most valuable ecosystems. During the hike, you’ll discover a variety of endemic flora and fauna, cross mountain streams, walk around the watercourse, and view the ruins of the old Azuaje Spa. This ravine is a symbol of Gran Canaria’s biodiversity, preserving remnants of its lush natural past.

Eco-Farm
⏱ 13:30 – 14:30 h

Enjoy a culinary experience in a living example of sustainable agricultural practices in harmony with nature, where a delicious tasting of fresh fruit and other local products awaits you under the shade of trees in a unique setting. Learn about ecological farming methods and savor local products like fresh fruits and artisanal cheese.

Natural pools
⏱ 15:15 – 16:00 h

To complete the tour, this peaceful fishing village is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural pools formed by volcanic rocks. These pools offer a safe refuge for swimming and admiring the beauty of the Gran Canaria coastline. The contrast between the black sand and the clear waters creates a spectacular setting, ideal for resting after a day of exploration.

DROP-OFF
⏱ 16:00 – 18:00 h

The drop-off process will begin in Las Palmas, proceeding subsequently to other locations, and will finally conclude with the last drop-off in Puerto de Mogán.




Know before you go:

🥾 Hiking through the Azuaje Ravine: A trail through the lush laurel forest of the Doramas Natural Reserve, rated as easy to moderate. The terrain includes uneven paths, gentle slopes, and stream crossings, with narrow sections and rocky surfaces requiring good balance. Waterproof shoes are strongly recommended, as your feet will likely get wet during the hike. Suitable for most participants with basic physical fitness, the hike takes approximately 2 hours, including scenic stops. Additionally, the route requires walking into the ravine for approximately 3 km.

🚻 Restrooms and Services: Public restrooms are available in Firgas and at the Ecofinca Ventana Verde. Additional facilities, including public toilets and restaurants offering snacks and refreshments, can be found at El Puertillo. Restrooms are unavailable along the Azuaje Ravine trail, so plan accordingly before starting the hike.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Group Size: This activity is limited to 20 people. You’ll share the experience with other participants, ensuring a vibrant group dynamic.
