Data protection notice
Protecting your private sphere and personal data is a central factor in our conception and implementation of our online activity.
Scope of application
This data protection notice informs the user of the type, scope and purpose of the collation and use of personal data by the relevant provider CLIMBO (Guillermo Sanahuja Martinón), PS/ Tomás Morales, nº68,1º-A, 35003, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmas, España; e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org; tel.: +34 636 898 493 (“Provider”) on our websites (“Offerings”). The legal bases of data protection can be found in the Agencia General de Protección de Datos en España.
Access data/ server logfiles
The Provider (or its webspace provider) collates data on each access to the Offerings (known as server logfiles). The access data includes: Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of the access, data quantity transferred, notification of successful access, browser type plus version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previous page visited), IP address and the provider making the request. The Provider only uses the log data for statistical analyses for the purpose of the operation, security and optimization of the Offerings. However, the Provider reserves the right to inspect the log data retrospectively if there are concrete indicators of unlawful use.
Handling personal data
Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to an individual. This includes their name, e-mail address or telephone number. Data relating to preferences, hobbies, memberships or the websites viewed by a person also falls within the definition of personal data. Personal data may only be collated, used and forwarded by the Provider if this is allowed by law or the users consent to the data collation.
When contacting the Provider (for example via a contact form or e-mail) the user’s data is saved for handling purposes as well as in order to answer any follow-up questions.
Comments and contributions
Users’ IP addresses are stored if they leave comments in the blog or otherwise contribute. This is done for the purpose of security of the Provider in case someone includes unlawful content in comments and contributions (defamation, forbidden political propaganda, etc.). In this case the Provider itself may be held responsible for the comment or contribution and therefore has an interest in the identity of the author.

Inclusion of third-party services and content
These online Offerings may contain third-party content, such as YouTube videos, mapping from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This requires the providers of such content (hereinafter referred to as “Third-Party Providers”) to note the users’ IP address in all cases. Without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to the respective users’ browser. The IP address is therefore essential for presenting this content. We endeavor only to use such content where the respective provider uses the IP address solely for the purpose of supplying the content. However, we have no influence over whether the Third-Party Providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. We will notify users accordingly where this is known to us.
